Four Seasons Tree Service, trading as Tree Loppers Perth, operates this website to connect people who need tree work with independent contractors who carry it out. We do not directly provide tree lopping, removal, pruning or stump services.
When you make an enquiry, your details are passed to a contractor operating in your area. That contractor attends, quotes and performs the work, and the agreement for the work is made between you and them.
What we do not verify
We do not inspect or verify any contractor's licensing, certification, competence, qualifications or insurance. We expect contractors to represent those things accurately, but we do not audit them and we cannot vouch for them.
Before any work starts on your property, ask the attending contractor for:
- a current public liability certificate of currency;
- confirmation of workers compensation cover for anyone climbing, cutting or operating machinery on the site;
- any qualifications or accreditations relevant to the work, including accreditation for work near live electrical conductors if the job is anywhere near powerlines.
Ask to see the documents rather than accepting a verbal assurance, and verify them with the issuer or the relevant authority if the job is substantial.
Disputes
Any dispute or disagreement about work arranged through this website is between you and the contractor. We are not a party to those arrangements, we do not mediate them, and we are not responsible for damage, loss or disagreement arising from work carried out by a contractor.
If something goes wrong, raise it with the contractor first, in writing. Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply to services supplied to you by that contractor.
Accuracy of information
The information on this site is general in nature and provided for guidance only. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or correct, and errors are possible.
Two areas deserve particular caution. Council rules vary between local governments in Western Australia and change over time — there is no statewide tree preservation order, so the position genuinely differs from suburb to suburb, and you should confirm the current requirements with your own council. Tree assessments cannot be made from a web page; whether a specific tree is safe, whether it can be reduced, and whether it should be removed are questions for someone standing under it.
